Rocky Horror Show New York Theatre reviews
Flaming Lips owned!!
The incredible Rocky Horror Show experience at the Horseshoe Casino stage this year was my highlight of the night. Manchester Orchestra set the stage perfectly with their high energy and amazing music, leading into Cage the Elephant who killed it! Schultz madly ran around stage diving and crowd surfing, delivering his unique vocal stylings. MGMT, a disappointment, lacked energy with the band just standing around. In stark contrast, The Flaming Lips were amazing, with Wayne's incredible stage presence thrilling to watch. Confetti cannons, dancing Wizard of Oz characters, and a giant light screen added to the general craziness of the show. Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots Pt. 1, on which the entire crowd sang, was a thrilling version. Always an awesome time down on the river, despite the disappointing parts of the night. This is the first year in my last 6 where the weather was good, ensuring there wasn't a dull moment.
